If you have the Apple iPhone XS Max, XS or the XR you will be able to run Fortnite at 60fps. An update was made which made this possible on the iOS version, previously players can only run at 30fps at the best.
iPhone users who now choose to run Fortnite at 60fps will able to play at a smoother pace and will get crisp and clearer images, an advantage over Nintendo Switch and Android users who are still stuck with playing at 30fps.
The new update for Fornite on iPhone is made possible by Apple’s A12 bionic which is a very fast processor, making it possible to render the game at 60fps. The Nintendo Switch is still a cheaper gaming alternative which retails for $300 unlike the latest iPhones going for a base model $1000 price.
Battle Royale games, Fortnite and PUGB may have spread like wildfires with celebrities getting in on the act but it still doesn’t make economic sense to get the expensive iPhones because of it. Canadian Rapper, Drake got his account hacked recently.
No time-scale has been given to when Android devices will be able to run at 60fps but a statement says Epic games is working on it. The game is available and runs at 60fps on Sony’s PS4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One X. PUGB is currently available for pre-order on PS4 and will be available to play starting December 7.
