It’s been touted for a long time and it has finally happened. In a blog post, Sony’s Development Project Manager, Joon H. Choi announced players will be able to play PUBG on PS4 starting December 7 in time for the holiday periods.
PUBG has been available on mobile platforms such as the Android and iOS for some with PC players also able to play via Steam. Currently boasting over 350 million players, the shooter game features 100 players dropping into an unknown place for survival. Killed or be killed, explore your location via its map in search of weapons and armour. Just like Fortnite, you require the internet to play PUBG and only those with a PlayStation Plus subscription can play the game on PS4.
The game will be officially available to play come 7th December on the PlayStation 4 but it’s available for pre-order starting now. It will be launching with three iconic maps – Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok, while the highly anticipated snow-themed map will be coming in the winter.
