Uncharted, Bond and Ghostbusters Movies All Just Got Delayed

007 - No Time to Die

Some of the major movies slated for 2021 all just got delayed yet again. Initially slated for April 2020, James Bond’s No Time to Die was pushed back till 2020 and has now been delayed for the third time till October 8th, 2021. Sony’s Uncharted Movie was slated for July 16th, 2021 but it won’t come out now until 2022, report says. Ghostbusters has also now been delayed till November 11th.

Theatres have taken massive hits, particularly from the delays with Regal and Cineworld reportedly closing down its UK and US cinemas. MGM remains intent on premiering the movie in the theatres and this hasn’t been possible due to the ongoing pandemic. Other studios have taken the route of releasing on streaming platforms to avoid further delays.

It’s not looking good at the moment and we might see delays from other movies. Theatres may also not survive if the situation of things do not improve soon.
