Sony is trying its best to support everyone playing their part to stop the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic. Much has been said of social distancing and people staying at home to prevent further spread of the virus. In other to give back to the society, Sony is starting a Play At Home initiative and is making Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free to PS4 owners and also giving out $10 million to support independent game developers.
The Nathan Drake Collection joins Journey as free games for PlayStation 4 owners which will be available through digital download beginning tomorrow April 15 at 8PM PDT till May 5, 8MP 2020. Once the games have been added to your library, they are yours for life.
Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection contains three games – Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception; which have all been remastered for PlayStation 4 owners. Journey brings a different experience with its own adventure and mysterious story.
Downloads for these games may take longer in the US and Europe as Sony is doing its best to make sure internet access is available for everyone.
As part of the Play At Home initiative, Sony Interactive Entertainment will also be proving a $10 million fund support for its independent developer partners who may be struggling financially due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
