Poco M2 Pro is the latest device to be unveiled by the now independent Poco brand. The mid-range device comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast-charging. Unsurprisingly, it comes with a price tag under $200 which makes it very attractive for what it offers.
The smartphone is similar to the global Redmi Note 9 Pro targeted at the Indian market. It is powered by a Snapdragon 720G chipset and its battery offers a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes according to Poco.
In terms of display, the Poco M2 Pro features a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 1080p resolution. In front is a punch-hole cutout which houses the 16MP selfie camera. At the back is a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Poco says the smartphone comes with dust and water protection but its IP rating is not known.
The device is available in blue, green and black colours. Storage option comes with either a 64GB and 128GB size alongside a 4GB or 6GB RAM. It doesn’t come with a microSD card slot.
The device goes on sale in India July 14 and it is exclusive to Flipkart. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will cost Rs. 13,999 ($185), the 6GB/64GB Rs. 14,999 ($200), while the 6GB/128GB option will set you back by Rs. 16,999 ($225).
