Poco M3 is the latest smartphone from the affordable POCO brand. The smartphone has a starting price of $129 and is stylishly designed. Its biggest selling point remains the 6,000mAh battery capacity and its 18W fast charge.
The smartphone has an anti-fingerprint texture and is available in three colours – power black, cool blue and flashy yellow. At the front is a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate. There is also a waterdrop notch which houses the 8MP selfie camera.
At the back, there is triple camera setup which is headlined by a 48MP main shooter and a pair of 2MP macro and depth sensors. The smartphone runs on Android 10 based on the MIUI 12 and is powered by a Snapdragon 662 chipset with 4GB of RAM paired with either a 64GB or 128GB internal storage. There is a fingerprint scanner at the side it also comes with an IR blaster.
Poco claims the 6,000mAh battery can last up to five days with basic usage, three days of moderate use and a day and a half on heavy usage. It can also last up to two and a half years without a notable degradation.
Sales begin in the US on Black Friday, November 27 with the 4GB/64GB going for $129 and the 4GB/128GB model going for $149. In Europe, it will go on sale November 30th for €149 and €169 respectively.
