The next Poco flagship phone is here. The Poco F3 was announced today alongside the X3 Pro at a live-streamed event.
The smartphone features a 6.7” FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by the new Snapdragon 870 5G chipset which is built on a 7nm process. The chipset is similar to last year’s Snapdragon 865 Plus but is now faster with a Kyro 585 CPU clocked at 3.2GHz.
The Poco F3 is available in 6/128GB and 8/256GB variants with a faster UFS 2.1 storage, there is no microSD slot for expansion which means what you buy is what you get. It has a decent 4,520mAh battery capacity with a 33W fast charging brick but it does not support Qi wireless charging.
In terms of camera, it has a 20MP selfie camera which is housed by the punch-hole cutout. At the back is a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP telemacro lens.
The Poco F3 will set you back by €349 for the 6/128GB variant but you can pick it up for less with the early bird pricing at €299. The 8/256GB variant costs €399 with a cheaper early bird pricing of €349. The smartphone will be available in Arctic White, Night Black and Ocean Blue colour options.
