We are already gearing up for FIFA 20, the game will finally be available to play from September 27. But who are the FIFA 20 Cover Stars? EA unveiled today new Real Madrid signing Eden Hazard and Champions League-winning defender van Dijk as cover stars for the Standard and Champions Edition of the game respectively.
Hazard’s Big Summer, Dream Real Madrid Move
Eden Hazard came to Chelsea as a boy and left as a man, a Chelsea legend. He finally got his long-waited dream move to Los Blancos Real Madrid under the tutelage of his idol, Zinedine Zidane.
His transfer to Madrid for €100m makes him one of the most expensive signings ever. This has also resulted in Hazard making the cover for FIFA for the first time in his career. The Belgian is expected to do great things at Real Madrid.
Virgil van Dijk Brings Back the Glory Days at Liverpool
Liverpool’s wait for a Premier League title continues as the Reds agonizingly lost to Man City on the final day of the season. The Kops, however, returned with a bang in Europe defeating Spurs in the final to be crowned Champions after losing to Real Madrid the season before the last one in the final. One of the most influential stars was van Dijk.
Virgil van Dijk is named as cover star for the Champions Edition of the upcoming FIFA 20 game, a massive feat for the Dutch defender. Dijk rise is impressive, bought from Celtic by Southampton, Liverpool paid N75 million pounds to get him making him the most expensive defender in the world. That looks like money well spent as the defender is now being touted as a possible Ballon D’Or winner this year.
All the FIFA 20 Cover Stars has not yet been revealed; it remains the Ultimate Edition. The game can be pre-ordered here.
