Sony Reportedly Planning First PS5 Game Reveal for June 3

We might see the first set of games coming to the PS5 as early as next week. According to Bloomberg, Sony has a PS5 conference planned for June 3 where it’s expected to showcase games coming to its next-generation console.

Sony will only be focusing on games for the PS5 digital event and not much is expected to be revealed about the console itself. Sony is expected to plan further events in the coming weeks and months to reveal the PlayStation 5 console itself. Rival company, Microsoft has been putting out new information little by little since it revealed its Xbox Series X console which is also expected for a holiday 2020 release just like the PlayStation 5.

So far, Sony has revealed the logo and full hardware specifications of the PlayStation 5. The PS5 will be coming with custom SSD which is faster than what’s found in most high-end gaming PCs.

Few weeks ago, Epic Games showcased tech a demo of the PS5 technical capabilities with Unreal Engine 5, its 3D game engine. The PlayStation 5 will debut with a 16GB of GDDR6 RAM and a custom 825GB SSD which is capable of 5.5GB/s Read Bandwidth.
