HBO’s The Last of Us is a live-action adaptation of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us PlayStation video game. The series will premiere in 2023, with the first season expected to have 10 episodes.

In the short trailer, we see an exchange between Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie), which is the same as it is out of the video game. The trailer also showed a scene where Joel was trying to save his daughter, Sarah and a look at Nick Offerman, who plays Bill.

Naughty Dog’s co-president Neil Druckmann, the writer and creative director of the original game, tweeted, “You ain’t seen nothing yet,” in reaction to the trailer. Druckmann is also an executive producer of the upcoming series alongside Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin.
