Death Stranding is Coming to the iPhone and Mac on January 30

Death Stranding pre-order

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to the iPhone 15 Pro models, Macs and iPads with Apple’s M-series chips on January 30th. Kojima first announced at the WWDC 2023, and Apple revealed the game would also be coming to the iPhone 15 Pro models at its ‘Wonderlust’ event in September.

Like the Death Stranding Director’s Cut version released for the PS5 and PC, the iPhone and Mac versions comes with additional content besides the base game. While playing as post-apocalyptic delivery man Sam ‘Porter’ Bridges, players will get exclusive access to “expanded story missions,” dangerous underground factory,” and more “delivery assists like cargo catapults and a newly-added stabilizer function.” The game costs $39.99, but it is available to pre-order now with 50 per cent off.

Kojima is expanding on the Death Stranding universe and a sequel is in the works. A teaser trailer was released over a year ago for Death Stranding 2 and a big reveal could reportedly arrive in the next two weeks. Kojima Productions and A24 studio announced in December that a movie adaption is in the works for the game.
