Chinese Phone maker, Xiaomi has finally announced the long-awaited tablet, Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus. The tablet is a 10-inches and it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which debuted on the Mi Pad 4 for Xiaomi. Mi Pad 4 Plus packs a bigger display than its predecessor which is an 8-inch Tablet.

A peek at the hardware and software might suggest that the tablet will be expensive because of some impressive features it sports. However, the Chinese company has decided to keep the price reasonable and that’s so thoughtful of them.

There are two variants of the Mi Pad 4 Plus. The first variant has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The second variant sports 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both variants are available in two colours: Gold or Black. The 64GB storage variant is priced at $276 while the 128GB version is priced at $305.

However, for those who were expecting a Wi-Fi only model, I’m sorry to inform you that no such thing is available. On a more positive note, the price is reasonable for the LTE variants so there should be hardly any complaints.

The LTE bands that are supported on the tablet include TDD-LTE bands B34/B38/39/40/41 and FDD-LTE bands B1/3/5/7/8. Therefore, it is important to contact your carrier to confirm the availability of these bands. In the event that these bands are not supported, the tablet has Wi-Fi support so it can be connected anywhere there is a hotspot available.

The tablet sports a 1,920 x 1,200 display, and its weight is just over one pound. The tablet comes with a USB Type-C port, its front-facing camera is 5MP while the rear camera is 13MP. Its fingerprint sensor is mounted on the front. It also packs a monstrous 8,620mAh battery!

At the moment, it is unclear if the device is China-restricted or it shall be available globally. Right now, it is only available in China as a pre-order but be assured we shall keep you updated on latest happenings concerning the tablet. We hope this is the advent of a competitive tablet market with reasonable prices just like the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus.
