The Witcher Season 2 Now Among Netflix’s Most Viewed TV Shows of All Time

The second season of The Witcher has made it to the list of Netflix’s most-watched TV shows of all time. First reported by Variety, the fantasy show based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel can now be seen on Netflix’s top 10 website which shows the statistics of its top movies and TV shows.

In its first 28 days, The Witcher Season 2 has amassed a total of 462.5 million hours of view-time. The second season stars Henry Cavill as the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia who continues his role from the first season, Freya Allan as Ciri and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer. Netflix has already confirmed the show will return for a third season at a yet to be announced date.

The Witcher Season 1 is third on the all-time list having amassed a total of 541.010 million viewing hours in its first 28 days, Stranger Things 3 is second with 582.1 million view-time while the first season of Bridgerton tops the list with a total viewing time of 625.490 million hours.

Netflix is making a spin-off titled The Witcher: Blood Origin which is set 1200 years before the events of The Witcher. The first trailer has been released but no premiere date on Netflix has been announced yet.
