Sony’s remastered bundle of the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy finally has a release date and it can be pre-order digitally starting today. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection which packs both games will launch on the PlayStation 5 on January 28, 2022. The PC version still does not have an actual release date with Sony saying “stay tuned for more details.”
Sony is offering an upgrade path on the PS5 to the bundle for $10/€10 for players who already own Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, or Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End & Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Digital Bundle. This upgrade will be available on January 28, 2022 when Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection arrives on the PS5. Those who claimed Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for free with a PlayStation Plus subscription will have to pay $49.99/€49.99 MSRP, the full price for the remastered bundle as they will not be eligible for the $10/€10 upgrade. Sony also notes the multiplayer mode from both Uncharted titles will not be available in the PS5 collection.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will take advantage of the PS5’s power and players can expect “near instant” load time. Players will also feel the DualSense wireless controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. In terms of graphical display, there is Fidelity Mode which provides a native 4k resolution at 30fps, Performance Mode which targets a 60fps frame rate, and Perfomance+Mode which targets 120fps frame rate at a 1080p resolution.
Sony is making the deal even juicier for Australia, New Zealand, UK and US residents. Players who purchase or upgrade to the remastered bundle in these select countries from now until February 3, 2022 11:59pm PT will get a voucher code for one standard ticket to see the Uncharted movie featuring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg.
The Uncharted movie is set to hit the theatres on February 18, 2022.
