Last year, Sony began the PlayStation “Play At Home” initiative. The program has one goal – keep people at home playing videos games to curb the spread of COVID-19. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey were the games made available for free. Sony today announced the program is returning again.
Starting from March 1, 2021, PS4 and PS5 owner will be able to download Insomniac’s 2016 remake of the classic Ratchet & Clank. Once the game is redeemed by March 31, it is yours to keep for life. A good warm-up as Insomniac Games gears up to release PS5s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart in June.
The Washington Post reports 10 million players claimed Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection last year which means the Play At Home program has been a successful one. This time around, the program will last till June which means players will get newer free games in the subsequent months.
