While Microsoft has all but revealed all about its Xbox Series X, the details of the PlayStation 5 has been sketchy with Sony just putting out a little information about its next-generation console so far. Earlier in January, Sony officially confirmed the logo but nothing has been heard since then. Today, Sony announced it will be holding an event concerning the PS5 tomorrow.
The official PlayStation account says Mark Cerny who is the PlayStation 5’s lead system architect will be proving a “deep dive” into the console’s system architecture tomorrow at 9am Pacific Time. The event will be streamed live at blog.us.playstation.com.
Back in October 2019, Sony demoed the load times for the PS5 and also revealed some of its specifications. We know the PS5 will come with super-fast SSD, eight-core CPU based on AMD’s Ryzen line, its Navi series-based GPU, support for 8K graphics, 3D audio and 4K gaming at 120Hz.
