Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey Unveiled with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3050 Ti

Samsung announced the Galaxy Book Odyssey yesterday alongside its Galaxy Book Pro series and the Galaxy Book. The new Galaxy Book Odyssey packs powerful specifications which Samsung describing it as its most powerful Galaxy laptop ever.

The Galaxy Book Odyssey is the first laptop to feature the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Max-Q GPU but there is also an option for the GeForce RTX 3050 Max-Q. It is powered by Intel’s 11th-gen Core processor and it comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display.

Storage options can go up to 1TB of NVMe SSD and 32GB of DDR4x RAM. The laptop has a 720p webcam camera and dual mic for video calls. There is Dolby Atmos support, a fingerprint reader on the power key and it comes with an 83Wh battery.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. It has many ports including two USB Type-C (one is meant for the 135W USB Type-C charger), three USB 3.2 outlets, an HDMI, MicroSD and Ethernet support.

Pricing for the gaming laptop begins at $1,399 and it will start shipping in August. Samsung said the laptop will be available in select markets.
