Samsung Exynos 7904 vs Qualcomm Snapdragon 660: Performance
Both chipsets are made with Samsung’s 14nm LPP FinFET process node. Several manufacturers now opt for smaller process modes for their big phones including the Apple A12 Bionic (7nm) and Exynos 9820 (10nm). In this way, 14nm node isn’t particularly new and focuses on more affordable devices.
In terms of CPU configuration, Snapdragon 660 has eight

Qualcomm chipsets come with eight Kryo 360 cores based on ARM Cortex A75 CPUs. Qualcomm promises improved task sharing capacities among its cores. In terms of the GPU, Snapdragon 660 houses the mid-range Adreno 512 GPU. It renders pure graphics efficiently with API support such as Vulkan 1.0 and OpenGL ES.

On the other hand, the Exynos 7904 uses the Cortex platform architecture and a 2+6 core configuration. This implies that the chipset has two 1.8GHz and six 1.6GHz. The Exynos 7904 supports Vulak 1.0 API.
Below is a quick face-off between both chipsets on different devices:
Property | Xiaomi Mi A2 (4GB) | Samsung Galaxy M20 (4GB) |
Antutu Total Score | 137147 | 108290 |
Antutu CPU Score | 60558 | 47076 |
Antutu GPU Score | 30830 | 21088 |
