Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite, the budget versions to the S10 and Note 10 flagships has officially been announced by Samsung after many months of leaks. The newly released devices bring same premium features in last year’s flagships at a very affordable price.
Both smartphones feature the Infinity-O displays which debuted on the Galaxy S10 flagship. They feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. The selfie cameras are situated at the centre inside the punch-hole. There are two RAM options – 8GB or 6GB with an internal storage of 128GB, both devices are powered by a 4,500mah fast-charging batteries.
Going to other specifications, there are different from each other on both devices. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 chipset while the Galaxy S10 Lite ships with a Snapdragon 855 chipset. At the back, there is a triple-lens system on both smartphones but the rear-camera specifications also differ.
The Galaxy Note 10 Lite triple-lens rear camera is made up 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP f/1.7 wide-angle lens with dual-pixel technology and optical image stabilization and finally a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto lens which also has optical image stabilization.
The Galaxy S10 Lite on the other hand 5MP f/2.4 macro lens, a 48MP F2.0 wide-angle lens featuring “Super Steady optical image stabilization”, this is different from the OIS offered on the Note 10 Lite. There is a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide with a 123-degree angle lens.
Both smartphones ships with Android 10 out of the box based on Samsung’s One UI 2. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with S Pen as expected and it offers the same Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) support which first came to the Note 9. There is a 3.5mm audio jack on the Note 10 Lite but the S10 Lite does not co e with one.
Galaxy S10 Lite will be available in Prism White, Prism Black or Prism Blue colours while the Note 10 Lite will be available in Aura Glow, Aura Black and Aura Red colours. Both smartphones are expected to go on sale by the end of the first quarter this year with the Note 10 Lite retailing for $599 and the S10 Lite going for $649.
