The PS Plus free games for June sees new titles Operation: Tango and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown make their PlayStation debut; Star Wars: Squadrons completes the lineup. All three games will be available for download on June 1, 2021.
PlayStation 5 owners get Operation: Tango (PS5 version only). Here is what the PlayStation blog has to say about the new title: Team up to save the world in this cooperative spy adventure, challenging you and a friend to join up online** to complete dangerous missions across the globe in a high-tech near-future world. Combine skill sets from different points of view – playing either Hacker or Agent – to overcome asymmetrical challenges, working in tandem with only your voice to link you. Teamwork is crucial, and communication is key! Note: Operation: Tango requires both players to have access to a working microphone.
The game will be available for download until Monday, July 5
Yakuza developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is the studio behind Sega’s legendary Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown. The game debuts on PlayStation and brings 3D martial art action. The game will be available for download until Monday, August 2.
PlayStation VR owners will have the opportunity to get Star Wars: Squadrons for free until Monday, July 5. “Master the art of starfighter combat in frenetic multiplayer space dogfights, and learn what it means to be a pilot in a thrilling Star Wars single-player story set after the events of Return of the Jedi and seen from alternating perspectives of two factions,” says the PlayStation blog.
May Ps Plus free games can still be added to your library until Monday, 31 if you are yet to grab them.
