It’s that time of the month again and Sony has announced the PS Plus free games for May. April free games are still available to pick up till Monday, May 3 for those with PS Plus subscription.

Action-racer Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last comes to the PS5 from the developers of FlatOut. Here is what the PlayStation blog has to say about it: race and upgrade patched-together cars, improving their looks and toughening up their body armour to survive the epic crashes and neck-to-neck fights over the finish line in competitive races. Enjoy some hilarity in Challenge modes as you get behind the wheel of crop harvesters, three-wheelers and much more, then challenge your friends online in multiplayer up to 24 players.

EA has announced it is working on the next Battlefield game to be released later this year. In preparation for that, Sony is making Battlefield V available for free to PS Plus subscribers on the PS4. Here is what the PlayStation blog has to say about it: enter mankind’s greatest conflict with Battlefield V as the series goes back to its roots in a never-before-seen portrayal of World War 2. Lastly, open-world adventure game Stranded Deep also comes to PS4 owners. The game follows the aftermath of a plane crash, as a player, you must navigate your way out of the Pacific Ocean full with predators.

May free games can be added to your library from Tuesday, May 5 until Monday, May 31.
