Sucker Punch’s hit action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima is getting a Director’s Cut. In a PlayStation Blog post, the PlayStation studio announced the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be launching on the PS4 and PS5 August 20 with new additional contents.

“This new edition comes packed not only with the original game and every piece of additional content we’ve sold to date, but a brand-new adventure for Jin alongside a bunch of new features that we’re excited to reveal,” the developer announced. The expansion continues Jin Sakai’s story as he ventures to liberate the neighbouring island of Iki from the Mongol armies. “This new island also features tons of new content including brand new environments to explore, new armour for Jin as well as his horse, new mini-games, new techniques, new enemy types, and much more,” Sucker Punch explained.

The PS5’s expansion will take advantage of the console’s powerful hardware and support features such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, 3D audio and it will be playable at a 4K resolution on 60fps. It will also offer lip sync for Japanese voice over.

The PS4 save progress will be transferrable to PS5 for those who want to continue the game from the island of Iki. According to Sucker Punch, there will be a free patch to download which will bring new updates “thanks to the constant stream of feedback you’ve been providing us since launch, which we’re extremely appreciative of.” Online multiplayer mode Legends will also be getting a new mode that the developer says will share more about later.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will set you back by $69.99 on the PS5 and $59.99 on the PS4. It’s available for pre-order from the PlayStation Store and from authorized retailers. PS4 owners who own the game already can get the Director’s Cut upgrade for $19.99 when it launches August 20. For PS5 owners who has already bought the PS4 version, Director’s Cut upgrade will cost $29.99. Those who buy the PS4 Director’s Cut will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for $9.99 at any time.

Ghost of Tsushima remains the PS4’s fastest-selling new IP ever. Earlier in the year, it was announced the game will be getting a movie adaptation.
