OnePlus may have unveiled the 7T and 7T Pro barely a month ago but the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are really the flagship device everyone is looking forward to seeing from the Chinese manufacturer. We now have the first real render to how what should be expected when the devices are officially announced.
Thanks to OnLeaks and CashKaro, the OnePlus 8 Pro will be coming with a punch-hole display as opposed to the notch screen adopted on previous OnePlus smartphones. The Pro variant looks similar to the OnePlus 8 but there are differences when looked closely.
Comparing the two smartphones, the 8 Pro has a thicker top bezel than the original 8. The 8 Pro comes with a 3D ToF sensor and supporting camera sensors at the back. The earpiece is also larger.
In terms of display, the Pro has a 6.65” display while the OnePlus 8 has a 6.5” screen. Both also come with a 90Hz refresh rate which is found in the 7T Pro. The Pro variant is also 0.7mm heavier than the main 8. The connectivity port which is the USB Type-C port and SIM card slots are maintained across the devices.
The OnePlus 8 series is expected to be officially announced next year, 2020 and more details are expected to emerge before then.
