Looking closely at the OnePlus 7T, its rear camera consists of a 48MP main sensor while using a Sony IMX586 sensor. Furthermore, it reminds us of the OnePlus 7 Pro by having a faster f/1.6 aperture.
Its second camera includes a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. However, the tele camera does not support OIS technology.
Like the Pro version, The OnePlus 7T completes its rear camera assembly with a 16MP ultrawide sensor that offers a 117° field of view. Both phones also feature a Nightscape mode but the 7T goes further with a macro mode for shooting from 2.5cm with 960fps slow-motion mode at 720p.
Another attraction on the latest addition to the OnePlus family is its Fluid AMOLED display. This screen offers a 90Hz refresh rate while measuring at 6.55″. Moreover, a teardrop notch houses a 16MP selfie camera.
Graphics on the 7T are stunning due to its HDR 10+ technology. But the 7T Pro stands as a better option with its 1080p resolution. Still, the former comes as a worthy rival by having a higher peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a stronger haptic driver.
Charging times on the 7T are faster because of its new Warp Charge 30T tech. With this spec, its 3800mAh battery can enjoy 70% charge in half an hour. However, the smartphone will not support wireless charging.
Under the design department, the OnePlus 7T offers exciting specs. For instance, Gorilla Glass covers both ends of the device that comes in either Glacier Blue or Frosted Blue. Furthermore, the glass at the front is flat which is a break from the current curved screen trend.
A Snapdragon 855+ chipset that offers faster GPU speeds (for enhanced mobile gaming) can be found on the OnePlus 7T. The phone will be sold in variants with storages of 128GB and 256GB respectively. But both models will have 8GB worth of RAM which is an upgrade from the OnePlus 7.
