One of the highly anticipated games of the year Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed yet again. The game was supposed to be released September 17 but has now been postponed till November 19 with developer CD Projekt Red citing bug fixes as reason for postponement.

In a tweet, the developer explained putting finishing touches to the game and making it “something that will stay with you for years to come.”

At the time we are writing these words, Cyberpunk 2077 is finished both content and gameplay-wise. The quests, the cutscenes, the skills and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer – it’s all there. But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs. A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that.”

The game has been in development since 2013 and it’s now been seven years in 2020. Journalists are playing the game already and previews will be published after the Night City Wire stream event scheduled for June 25th.
