Microsoft is bringing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III to Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate on Wednesday, July 24th. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was only released last year, and it will be the first Call of Duty Game to arrive on Game Pass.
The next instalment in the Call of Duty series, Black Ops 6, will arrive on Game Pass on day one when it launches on October 25th. The arrival of last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on Game Pass and the imminent release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will go a long way in appeasing Game Pass subscribers after Microsoft’s recent price hike.
Beginning September 12th, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get a $3 price increase from $16.99 a month to $19.99. PC Game Pass subscription is increasing from $9.99 a month to $11.99 monthly. There will be a new Xbox Game Pass Standard subscription without day-one titles at $14.99 monthly while existing subscribers will continue to have access to the current Game Pass for Console service. Microsoft says the new Xbox Game Pass Standard will be “available in the coming months.” Go here to see the list of worldwide price changes.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III represents the last title in the Activision franchise to have exclusive PlayStation content before Microsoft acquired the company.
