Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and Apple One are all receiving price hikes for new and existing subscribers, Mac Rumours reports.
In the U.S., Apple TV Plus is moving from $6.99 to $9.99 monthly. Apple Arcade price moves up from $4.99 to $6.99 monthly, while Apple News Plus is now $12.99, instead of $9.99. For customers who prefer an annual subscription, the price of Apple TV Plus has now been raised from $69 to $99 annually.
As a result of the increase in subscription prices of the individual services, the Apple One bundle prices are also increasing as follows:
• Individual – now $19.95 monthly (previously $16.95)
• Family – now $25.95 monthly (previously $22.95)
• Premier – now $37.95 monthly (previously $32.95)
Apple’s last price increase for its services was exactly a year ago and it included hikes in subscription prices of Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, and Apple One. The latest increase does not affect Apple Music, Fitness Plus, or iCloud Plus. The new price increases take effect immediately for new subscribers, and in 30 days from Wednesday, October 25th for existing subscribers.
Apple is not the first streaming service provider to implement a price hike this year, others like Netflix, Max, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus, Discovery Plus, and Hulu have done the same.
