X, formerly known as Twitter, has introduced two new subscription plans. In addition to the existing standard Premium Plan (formerly Twitter Blue), X users can now subscribe to a new Premium Plus plan or a “Basic” plan. Both plans are available to be purchased on the web only for now.

The new Premium Plus plan costs $16 monthly and it offers a lot of perks, including “no ads in For You or Following, largest boost for your replies, and access to our full suite of creator tools,” according to X. The Premium Plus plan provides added benefits on the $8 monthly standard Premium plan which offers the blue checkmark, the option to edit tweets, longer video uploads, and longer posts.

The second new plan is a $3 monthly “Basic” tier that provides access to “the most essential Premium features,” X says. The Verge reports that the Basic tier does not provide a blue checkmark, no reduced ads, and no access to X’s media studio. However, subscribers will receive “a small boost” to their replies.

Twitter has been rolling out a lot of product updates since Musk acquired the platform. After confirming that the company was working on adding audio and video calls at the end of August, X started rolling out the feature on Wednesday. The company also started testing a $1 per year “Not a Bot” plan in New Zealand and the Philippines it says is “not a profit driver.”
