After announcing the delay in the release of GTA VI until May 2026, Rockstar Games has released a second trailer for the highly anticipated video game today. The second trailer showcases Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval as they navigate the world of the vibrant Vice City together.
“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida – forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive,” the trailer description reads.
Rockstar has also updated the official GTA VI website with more information about the game. New characters and locations have been shared with high-fidelity screenshots.
“Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he found himself in the Keys doing what he knows best, working for local drug runners. It might be time to try something new,” reads a caption alongside many screenshots of Jason.
“More than anything, Lucia wants the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City — but instead of half-baked fantasies, Lucia is prepared to take matters into her own hands,” reads a caption alongside new screenshots of Lucia.
Last Friday, Rockstar announced that GTA VI will now be released May 26, 2026, on the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. “With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto 6 is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve,” the company said in a statement.
