Twitter is bringing pinned DMs to everyone on Android, iOS and the web, the company announced on Thursday. Previously, the feature was only available on Twitter Blue, its paid subscription service.
Users will be able to pin up to six conversations that are most important to them. Pinned conversations appear in the DM section at the top, while other conversations remain below them under “All conversations.”
Pinned DMs will certainly be helpful to users who want to prioritize certain conversations and keep DM conversations well-organized. Twitter has been rolling out some important updates lately; the company recently expanded Safety Mode, a feature that helps to autoblock spammy or abusive replies to more users. Twitter also expanded its downvote test to users globally.
