After so many uncertainties and speculations caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, a final release date has now been confirmed for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II and Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima.
The Last of Us Part II has been postponed twice since the first release date was announced causing a lot of uproar among fans eager to get their hands on the game. The last postponement was indefinite with Naughty Dog citing distribution problems due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Ghost of Tsushima was scheduled for a June 26 release date but reports came out two weeks ago the game might also be postponed.
In an announcement by Sony, The Last of Us Part II will now be released June 19, while Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima will arrive July 17.
We hope this is final and the games will not be postponed any longer as the world eases out on the COVID-19 pandemic.
