The Spark 5 Smartphone
Spark 5 comes in four different colours – ice jadeite, spark orange, vacation blue and misty grey. I got my hands on the ice jadeite colour. The device has a big 6.6” HD display with a 720 x 1600 resolution. The punch-hole cutout houses the 8MP selfie camera.
The design of this smartphone is aesthetically pleasing. At the back is the quad-camera setup with a 13MP main shooter, 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a QVGA low light sensor. It has a quad LED Flash.
A closer look at the back showing the quad-camera module, the fingerprint scanner and the inscription “DESIGNED BY TECNO”.
Underneath the smartphone is the 3.5mm audio jack, the microphone port, the regular USB port and the speaker grill.
At the right side is the two volume control buttons and the power button.
The other side has the SIM card slot and the microSD card slot.
The older Spark smartphones feature the regular orange colour packaging but the Spark 5 comes with a unique design. The Spark 5 is also unique with the quad-camera, TECNO focuses this type of hardware on its Camon series but the Spark series has been taken to a new level this year.
The Spark 5 will set you back by N49,000. This is slightly expensive for what we’ve come to know the Spark series for, but considering the specifications it packs, it is definitely worth it.
