Camon 11 vs Camon X – Design & Display

The Camon 11 features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The screen also has a notch. However, the Camon X has a smaller screen of 6.0-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1440 x 820 pixels. Besides, the screen has an aspect ratio of 18: 9.

The Camon X features a laid-back design where its rear camera lies vertically with an LCD flash. But the trendy Camon 11 goes further by having dual cameras with a Quad-LED flash in a horizontal position. Both devices have fingerprint sensors.

You can get the Camon 11 in three colours which are Aqua Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Midnight Blue. But if you like the colours Champagne Gold, City, Blue and Midnight Black, you should consider the Camon X.

Although we expected the Camon 11 to have excellent hardware, its Media Tek Helio A22 chipset with its Quad-core processors changes our expectations. The Camon X spots a Mediatek Helio P23 chipset with an octa-core processor. However, both items run at the maximum speed of 2.0GHz.

Concerning storage, both devices come close. Camon 11 has two variants which have a RAM of 3GB or 4GB with internal storages of 32GB or 64GB. On the other hand, the Camon has a single option with a RAM of 3GB and 32GB worth of internal storage. Both products can have their internal storages extended to as much as 128GB.

The Camon X and Camon 11 run on Android 8.1 Oreo, but the operating system but the latter is supported by TECNO’s HiOS 4.1 while the former works with HiOS 3.3.

The Camon 11 also features AR emojis like the Camon 11 pro. This emojis resembles ones used by Apple and Samsung flagship phones. This emojis spice up texting with your family and friends.

Looking at these features, the Camon X might have an advantage depending on the variant of the Camon 11 you might choose.

Camon 11 vs Camon X  – Camera, Network Connectivity

Camon X has a single 16MP rear camera with Quad-LED flash and a 20MP selfie snapper. Both cameras can record HD videos at 30fps. But Camon 11 brings more to the table with its dual 13MP+2Mp camera (that has a Quad- LED flash) and it’s 16MP selfie camera which has an LED flash.

Furthermore, AI enabled technology supports all the cameras of the Camon 11 giving users options such as AI HDR, AI Bokeh, Al Selfie and AI Beautification. The device can also record full HD videos at 30fps.

Both phones have Bluetooth 4.2 with the dual slots of the Camon 11 supporting 4G LTE while only a single slot of the Camon X supports this network. Both devices support WiFi, WiFi direct, Wifi hotspot, Micro USB and USB on the Go. They also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The TECNO Camon X costs 58,000 Naira while consumers should plan to spend a moderate 49, 500 naira for the Camon 11.

  2. Octa is 10, quad is 4, the camon 11 performance will be slower than camon x..
    I think camon x is better
