The month of April saw the launch of the Camon X Pro with exciting features which include a 6”-inch display, 24MP selfie camera, an Octa-Core processor, Android 8.1 Oreo OS among others. On the other hand, the Camon 11 Pro was released officially into the market a few days ago with both phones sharing a couple of features and a couple of differences as well.

Now the questions pop up. Are there any upgrades from the X Pro to the Camon 11 Pro? What features make any of the devices worth spending cash on? Read on as we compare Camon 11 Pro vs Camon X Pro

Camon 11 Pro vs Camon X Pro – Design and Display

When it comes to design, many will love to lay their hands on the Camon 11 Pro with a model (at first look) reminds us of the Phantom’s 8 Diamond Fire design. First, it has a smaller sized bezel with a notch that gives it a trendy design. Next, the cameras along the fingerprint scanner and the LED flash. These features make this phone look more attractive than the Camon X Pro’s moderate design.

The Camon 11 Pro has a thickness of 153.7 x 74.5 x 8.5 mm while the other phone has 159.5 x 77.7x 7.8 mm as its dimensions. The Camon X Pro also spots a single rear camera with a fingerprint scanner.

When it comes to the display, the odds are against the Camon 11 Pro. It features a screen size of 6.2 inches under an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels and 268 PPI density. It also features an 84.5 % screen-to-body ratio.

But the Camon X Pro has a 403 PPI density which offers consumers sharper and brighter images than the Camon 11 Pro which has a lower density. This device has a smaller screen size of 5.99 inches under IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It also has a 74.7% screen-to-body ratio with display protection.

Camon 11 Pro vs Camon X Pro – Hardware and Software

Just like the design, we can also spot some differences when it comes to software and hardware. A Media Tek Helio P23 Chipset powers the Camon X Pro with an octa-core processor which clocks at 2.0 GHz. This device also has a GPU that runs at an impressive 770MHz due to an upgrade to the latest Mali-G71 MP2.

But the Camon 11 Pro spots the latest Mediatek Helio P22 chipset. This chipset gives the device the ability to display images of HD+ resolution. The phone also has IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU which runs at 650MHz and an impressive octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU which operates at 2.0GHz.

Both phones also have internal storages of 64GB which users can expand with MicroSD cards up to 256GB. However the Camron 11 Pro works with 6GB of RAM while the Camon X Pro has 4GB.

Apart from the internal storage, the phones share the same feature of operating on the Andriod 8.1 Oreo OS. However, Camron X Pro HiOS 3.3 unlike Camon 11 Pro’s recently released HiOS 4.1.

It’s interesting to note that both devices come close to having the same level of performance (if you want to look at the processors of both devices). But the Camon 11 Pro should have better power and memory management abilities due to its Helio P22 chipset.

Camera, Network, and Connectivity

The newcomer, the Camon 11 Pro has a dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera complete with a Quad-LED flash and a 24MP front AI camera with an LED flash. Alternatively, the Camon X comes with a 24MP selfie camera with an LED flash and a 16MP rear camera with a Quad-LED flash.

The Camon 11 Pro wins this round with its front and back cameras supported by AI; and the addition of another rear camera.

Both devices work with dual Nano Sims which support 4G LTE. They also both have connectivity options such as Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi and USB ports. They also feature a 3.5mm audio jack.

Camon 11 Pro vs Camon X Pro – Price and Availability

The Camon 11 Pro should cost between 76,000 Naira while you can purchase the Camon X Pro at an average price of 75,000 Naira. You can purchase any of these devices at phone dealerships in major cities across. Nigeria.

However, if you are looking to pick one of the two to buy then you should go for the Camon 11 Pro as it has a more Modern look and gives a somewhat same performance, better camera at the same price.

With all the features mentioned, you can see there isn’t much need for an upgrade if you own a Camon X Pro.  But if you want a new phone that is sleek with a smart camera that gives better pictures, you should choose the Camon 11 Pro which performs better than the Camon X Pro at the same price.
