Qualcomm announced its new Snapdragon 768G 5G chipset today and it was also announced the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition will be the first smartphone to be powered by the chipset. The smartphone features a new mint green colourway and it shares similar specifications with the Redmi K30 5G.
The new device has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS display with a pill-shaped cutout which houses the 20MP selfie shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. At the back is a triple rear camera setup housed in circular cutout with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a 5MP macro lens.
The device ships Android 10 out of the box with a 6GB RAM and a 128GB internal storage which is further expandable via the microSD cards slot. It comes with a 4,500mAh battery which supports 30W fast charging.
Pre-order is one in China the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition has a retail price of CNY 2,000 ($282). It is scheduled to hit the shelves May 14.
