A new device has been added to the F-series lineup as Oppo today unveiled a new F15 device. The device shares a similar design to the Oppo A91 unveiled in China a couple of weeks ago.

Oppo F15 comes with a 6.4” AMOLED full HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It has a waterdrop notch which houses the 16MP selfie camera; on the screen is also its in-display fingerprint sensor for extra security.

At the back is its quad-camera setup which is made of a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera which also works for taking 3-8cm macro shots, a 2MP lens for taking monochrome shots and another 2MP depth sensor.

The smartphone ships out of the box with Android 9 Pie based on Oppo’s custom ColorOS 6.1 UI. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset with an 8GB RAM and a 128GB internal storage which is further expandable via the microSD card slot to 256GB. In terms of juice, it comes with a 4,000mAh battery which supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Pre-order is currently ongoing on Amazon India and Flipkart. The device is available in two colours – Unicorn White and Lighting Black. Its retail price is set at $282 and it is expected to hit the shelves starting January 24.
