Finnish company HMD Global has recently launched Nokia 7.1 in London. The brand-new phone is the first of its kind made by Nokia, featuring a PureDisplay screen technology. Due to its name, some people might see the handset as a successor to last year’s Nokia 7; but it is not. Nokia 7.1 offers a number of advanced hardware in comparison with the latter. You would love its design language, similar to that of Nokia 6.1, which brings to the table the latest options in vogue in modern phone aesthetics of 2018.

Full Specs of Nokia 7.1
This device comes with Zeiss-branded dual rear cameras, just like Nokia 7 Plus. Its 12MP + 5MP setup has double phase detection support, providing faster autofocus. These cameras allow you to experience HDR photography for sharp, crystal-clear images, and EIS offers stabilisation when you record videos. Nokia’s 7.1 rear camera supports Bokeh effect, Pro Mode as well as Bothie. This mid-range Android One phone will ship with stock, bloatware-free Android 8.1 with regular security updates for 3 years as well as 2 main software updates. According to HMD Global, it will soon be updated to Android 9 Pie.
That Nokia 7.1 is the first Nokia phone designed with a PureDisplay screen means its display supports HDR, which ensures more contrast and better quality. This capability will further offer you more immersive viewing pleasure as online video-sharing platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, etc. support HDR content. It’s also interesting to note that the device, using its HDR10 support, provides a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 with remarkable detail and radiant colours. It can also upscale SDR video content into HDR. Nokia 7.1 is designed with 5.84” touchscreen display that offers a resolution of 1,080 pixels by 2,280 pixels.
As regards internal storage, the handset comes in 2 variants. The 3GB version will have internal storage of 32GB and the other 4GB variant 64GB. The two of them will support storage that can be expanded as much as 400GB with a microSD card.

Yes, for people that order it from online stores in the US. However, when the phone gets to Nigerian markets, the prices will be higher for reasons such as shipping cost, transportation cost within the country, among other factors. I feel Nokia 7.1’s price will be in the neighbourhood of 143,000 (NGN). Thanks
