Another one of Sony’s blockbuster games is coming to the PC. In a PlayStation blog post, Sony announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch on PC on January 30, 2025 via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The title became the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game when it was released on the PS5 last October.
“Bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to a new audience on PC together with Insomniac and Marvel Games has been a great experience for us at Nixxes,” says Julian Huijbregts, Community Manager at Nixxes. “We are excited to continue this collaboration and bring Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC with a suite of enhanced features, including enhanced ray-tracing options, to take full advantage of a variety of setups and configurations. Stay tuned for more details on features and recommended specs closer to launch.”
Nixxes is handling the PC port of the game just like it did for PlayStation’s other blockbuster titles including the original Spider-Man, its spinoff Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Ghost of Tsushima’s Director’s Cut, and the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered which arrives on PC October 31, 2024.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will have two editions when it launches on PC – the Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition (DDE). Players can upgrade to DDE, similar to the path on the PS5 if they want the additional DDE content.
