LG has just announced three new smartphones – K61, K51S and K41S. The three devices make up the 2020 K series lineup and are packed with improved cameras and better performance at affordable prices.
All three newly released devices run on MediaTek octa-core chips and feature 6.5-inch screens with different aspect ratios. They also maintain the same 4000mAh battery capacity which comes with MIL-STD 810G compliance for long-lasting usage. They all feature USB Type-C charging ports with fast charge, quad-camera setups and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Starting with the LG K61 which brings the most high-end specifications of the 2020 K series lineup, it comes with a 6.5inch FHD+ FullVision Display with a 19.5:9 ratio. It has a 16MP selfie camera in the punch-hole cutout and a quad-rear camera setup which is made up of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, 2MP macro sensor and a 5MP depth sensor.
It comes in two storage variants – 64GB/128GB and a 4GB RAM. Its internal memory is expandable up to 256GB via the microSD card slot.
LG K51S shares the screen size with K61 but is taller with 20:9 HD+ FullVision Display. It has a quad rear camera setup as well consisting of a 32MP main shooter, 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and another 2MP macro lens. Its 13MP selfie camera is housed by the punch-hole cutout at the top left corner of the screen.
It comes with a 3GB RAM and a 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via the microSD card slot.
LG K41S shares a similar display with the K51S – a 6.5 inch 20:9 HD+ FullVision screen. Its quad rear camera setup is made up of a 13MP main shooter, 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and another 2MP macro lens. It has an 8MP selfie camera.
In size, it offers the least storage size with a 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage.
All three smartphones will be available in Q2 2020 in the Americas and select markets in Europe and Asia will follow suit. The retail prices will be revealed soon.
