Tired of seeing irrelevant posts on your Feed or content that you do not like? You will soon be able to have control over what appears in your Instagram Feed, Explore, and Reels page. In a news post on Tuesday, Meta announced it is testing ways for everyone to reset the content that appears in their Instagram recommendations. The test includes teen accounts, giving everyone control over what is shown to them on Instagram.

“Your recommendations will start to personalize again over time, showing new content based on the content and accounts you interact with,” Meta announced in a news post. “When resetting, you’ll also have the option to review the accounts you’re following and unfollow any that share content you no longer want to see.”
Meta says the new feature will “soon” roll out globally, and it builds on the existing tools people can use to control what they see on Instagram such as the ability to see the Following Feed in a chronological order.
With the introduction of the new tool, Instagram users will have the option to reset their algorithm at any time to control what they see on the default Feed, including the Explore and Reels pages.
