Santa Monica Studio’s God of War is coming to PC on January 14, 2022. Originally released for the PS4 in 2018, the game which is critically acclaimed has sold 19.5 million copies as of August 2021 2021. A Steam listing already reveals the title will cost $49.99.
God of War joins other PlayStation hits from Sony to make its way to PC. Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn are already available on PC and Sony is planning to bring Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection to the PS5 and PC in early 2022. PC players will pick up God of War just in time in 2022 as Sony is also gearing up to release God of War Ragnarok in June 2022.
PC players will have the option of playing the game on 4K resolution and with unlocked framerates on supported devices. There will also be full integration with NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) on RTX so players can enjoy high graphical settings and output resolutions for optimum performance simultaneously. Additionally, the PC port of God of War will also support NVIDIA Reflex Low latency technology for a responsive gameplay experience.
Apart from the graphical enhancements, Sony is also bringing support for 21:9 ultra-widescreen to PC.
