It has finally been confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will release on November 14. The next instalment in the series got a new gameplay trailer at Gamescom Opening Night live on Tuesday. The game is co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, and it is the first consecutive release in the Black Ops series.
The campaign can be played solo or in a four-player co-op. David Mason and his JSOC team of Operators embark on a crazy mission in Avalon as they seek answers about a weapon designed to incite global terror. It’s the year 2035, and more than 40 years after the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Raul Menendez has returned, and his threat continues to loom large over the world.
The trailer revealed new maps and locations, including Japan, Nicaragua, Los Angeles, and Avalon. For the first time in a Call of Duty game, players will have Global Progression in the Campaign. All Weapon Camos, Weapon XP, and challenges earned in the campaign co-op will be carried over to the multiplayer and zombie mode, and in Warzone beginning from Season 1.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will release on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and on PC via Xbox PC, Battle.net, and Steam. It will also be available on day one on Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass.
