The show began more than 10 years ago had not recorded any female winners and the odds were already on Mercy to become winner after she made it to the final stage.
Mercy who primes herself a video goddess and businesswoman wins total prize money worth N60 million Naira, the biggest grand prize yet since the show started. How Fans Voted for Mercy and Others, BBNaija 2019 Finale
Fans voted in masses since the beginning of the show and it’s estimated a total of N3.6 billion Naira was spent. For the 5 housemates who made it to the final stage, the vote went thus:
- Mercy – 41.77%
- Mike – 19.94%
- Frodd – 16.46%
- Omashola – 11.58%
- Seyi – 10.25%
Awolowo’s grandson, Seyi was the first to be evicted after which Omashola was announced for Eviction. Frodd was later announced to be evicted leaving only Mercy and Mike for the ultimate prize.
Not only did Mercy emerged winner at BBNaija 2019 finale, she found love in Ike and also gained fans across the continent.
