Apple’s long-rumoured entry-level iPhone launch is imminent and it was also confirmed last week with cases making its way to retailers in the United States. According to 9to5Mac, the entry-level device will be called iPhone SE and not iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9 as thought by many.
The first-generation iPhone SE was released in 2016 and Apple will be maintaining the same but with the hardware referred to as 2020 version. This new iPhone SE which will be the replacement to the iPhone 8 will be powered by Apple’s A13 Bionic chipset.
The device will be available in White, Black and Red colours in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants. The launch could happen any moment from now with the base model pricing going for $399.
