It is almost that time of the year when new iPhones get released and Apple has officially announced a launch event for the iPhone 15 lineup. Called “Wonderlust,” the company is expected to unveil the latest iPhones alongside new Apple Watches at the September 12th event at 1PM ET / 10AM PT.
Starting with the iPhones. Apple is expected to unveil four new iPhones – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to 9to5Mac, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to carry features from last year’s iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, such as the Dynamic Island, A16 Bionic chip, and the 48MP camera. The iPhone 15 lineup is also expected to be launched with USB-C charging and new colours.
The more powerful iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature the yet-to-be-announced 17 Bionic chip, a new programmable Action Button, a Titanium frame, a refreshed design, battery life improvements, USB-C charging port, amongst many others.
Apple is expected to announce the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2, while a new AirPods could also be unveiled. New accessories, including new iPhone cases will be revealed.
