I always dreamt about being on the show as a teenager, I saw people win a lot of money on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Nigeria but the chance never presented itself to me to be on the show. Every Friday night, I and my dad never missed the show, we would watch with so much concentration, tense and we sometimes laughed as people won and a lot and little by answering questions on the show.

Hosted by the suave-looking Frank Edoho, this might be the end for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Nigeria as its major sponsor MTN Nigeria is pulling out. The official Twitter account of the show tweeted yesterday that the show will be going on an indefinite hiatus; a hiatus the show might never return from.

The Show’s host, Frank tweeted as well and there were many emotional replies from fans and supporters of the show as they reminisced on the time they won money on the show. For those who never got the chance like me to be on the show it was still sad seeing the popular TV Show come to an end.

However, in another tweet at a fan, Frank replied a new show is brewing. We always knew this won’t be the last time we would see him on TV, hopefully the brewing show brings joy to the faces of Nigerians like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Nigeria has done in the past.
