After releasing the last Phantom nearly 2 years ago, TECNO today unveiled its latest smartphone from the Phantom series – the TECNO Phantom 9. The Transsion Holdings based company revealed its most premium device till date with specifications expected of a high-end smartphone.
The Phantom 9 has a striking Lapland aurora cover design which makes it pleasing aesthetically. It has a 6.4 full view screen with an AMOLED display featuring a dot-notch which houses the selfie camera at the top. Oneplus was the first company to adopt the in-display fingerprint on its Oneplus 6T, Samsung followed suit with the Galaxy S10 series and TECNO has done the same with the Phantom 9.

TECNO Phantom 9 Camera
Apart from being a powerful performance beast, Phantom 9 has great photo-taking capabilities. At the back is its AI-enabled triple camera consisting of 16MP + 2MP + 8MP 120 degrees ultra-wide-angle lens with LED. Flash which combines together to deliver a powerful final photo output.

A thumb press on the screen from the bottom end unlocks the device provided the fingerprint has been registered on the device. Other connectivity options include the Face ID unlock, Bluetooth 4.2 and WIFI.
The TECNO Phantom 9 uses dual Nano SIM with 4G LTE support. It has an internal storage of 128GB which is further expandable via the SD card slot. In terms of juice, it has a 3500mAh non-removable lithium-ion battery, it remains to be seen how that performs with the specifications of the device.
