Summer is here, and there is a lot of exciting gaming news coming up. Sony is holding a summer PlayStation State of Play on Wednesday, June 4th. The live stream will last for over 40 minutes and will begin at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 p.m. CEST on June 5 at 6:00 a.m. JST on YouTube and Twitch.
Sony says there will be updates on “must-play games coming to PS5” and that the show will highlight a “selection of great games” from creators across the globe.
Sony’s upcoming first-party titles for the year include Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, launching on June 26th, and Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yotei, which is releasing on October 2nd. It will come as no surprise to see gameplay trailers or more information about these titles.
In what will be an exciting summer, the Nintendo Switch 2 launches this week on June 5th. Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest also kicks off this Friday, June 6th, at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 9pm GMT. Microsoft is not left out, and there will be an Xbox showcase this Sunday, June 8th at 10am PT / 1pm ET.
