Samsung Z4 a low budget smartphone has been launched with the Korean company’s own OS; Tizen 3.0. Many may not be familiar with this OS from Samsung but it has been around for 3 years, while Flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus runs on the latest Android Nougat, Samsung Z4 will be the fourth smartphone by Samsung to run on its own Tizen OS.
According to recent statistics, Samsung’s Tizen OS holds the largest market share at the moment for wearables and gears with 19%, Google’s Android Wear comes close second while Apple’s Watch OS is third. Samsung Z4 comes with modest specifications with a simplified mobile experience and it is targeted at low-end smartphone users. Speaking on the announcement, DJ Koh, Samsung’s President of Mobile Communications Business, said:

Samsung Z4 with Tizen 3.0 OS Features and Specs
The smartphone has a 4.5-inch screen with a 2.5D Curved Glass display and a resolution of 480×800. It is powered by a modest 1.5GHz processor with a 1GB RAM and an internal memory of 16GB which is expandable up to 64GB via the MicroSD card slot.
On the image fronting, it has a 5MP back camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual LED Flash. For selfies, it also has a 5MP front f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash.
It is powered by a 2050mAh battery capacity which has been optimized to last longer by Samsung. Connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0
