Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro Announced with 5G Network and 120GHz Display

Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro was scheduled to be unveiled at the recently cancelled MWC 2020 but they are finally here. The smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset and bring 5G connectivity support.

The devices feature 6.7” AMOLED displays of QHD+ resolution with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. They ship with Android 10 out of the box which is slapped with ColorOS 7.1 UI.

Oppo Find X2 has a 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage with no micro SD card slot. At the back, it has a triple rear camera setup which comes with the new 48MP 1/43” Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1.7 aperture lens. It comes with 1.12um pixels which is the largest of any Bayer sensor ever, it also has the new Sony 2×2 OCL tech for better focus.

Its other rear camera component includes a 12MP ultrawide angle lens which comes with a Sony IMX708 sensor behind f/2.2 6P lens. There is also a 13MP telephoto lens with 5x hybrid zoom. The camera comes with Ultra Night Mode support.

For selfies, there is a punch-hole cutout which houses the 32MP Sony IMX616 quad-Bayer sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

In terms of battery capacity, there is 4,200mAh battery with 65W Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge. There is no 3.5mm audio jack but there is WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1. It comes in May in Ocean Glass and Black Ceramic colours for €999.

Find X2 Pro is the flagship with a 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. For the camera, there is a 48MP Sony IMX586 ½” Quad-Bayer sensor with an f/2.2 aperture shooter. It has autofocus and a 3cm macro mode. There is a 13MP telephoto lens with 1/3.4 behind f/3.0 periscope lens with 5x zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 60x digital zoom.

Its selfie camera is the same as that of the Find X2. The battery is slightly bigger at 4,260mAh with 65W Super VOOC 2.0 Flash Charge.

It is water-resistant with an IP68 rating and has a special X-axis motor for superior haptic feedback, the find X2 is not capable of this.
